The Keyport GardenWalk is an anticipated yearly event. It celebrates the creativity and diversity of Keyport's gardens. From large and small to public and private, gardens showcase beautiful plantings, hardscape, native plants, vegetables, and garden features that inspire. Gardeners of all experience levels—beginners to Master Gardeners—are welcome to participate and share the beauty of Keyport.
Share Your Garden on the Keyport GardenWalk
Has your garden been admired by neighbors, friends, or passersby? We'd love to invite you to open your garden as part of the Keyport GardenWalk!
Held annually on the first weekend in June, the Keyport GardenWalk is a free, self-guided tour celebrating the beauty, creativity, and diversity of gardens throughout our community. Visitors enjoy exploring unique gardens while discovering the charm of historic Keyport.

We welcome all gardens—large or small, public or private, formal or informal—including:
- 🌸 Flower gardens
- 🌿 Native plant and pollinator gardens
- 🥕 Vegetable and herb gardens
- 🌳 Shade gardens
- 🪨 Hardscapes and water features
- 🌼 Cottage gardens
- 🏡 Boutique and backyard gardens
Every garden is different, and that's what makes the GardenWalk so special.
🌼 Do I Need a Perfect Garden?
Absolutely not!
There is no such thing as a "perfect" garden. Every garden has its own personality, and visitors enjoy seeing real gardens filled with creativity, inspiration, and ideas they can take home. Whether your garden is mature, newly planted, or always a work in progress, we'd love to share it with the community.
Every garden that applies is accepted.
📝 What Happens After I Apply?
Once your application is received, you will:
- Receive the Keyport GardenWalk Gardener's Handbook, filled with helpful information, important dates, and tips for preparing for the tour.
- Be invited to a Gardener Information Meeting prior to the GardenWalk, where we'll review the event, answer questions, and help you prepare.
- Receive ongoing support from the Keyport Garden Club throughout the planning process.

Applications are accepted each year, with a deadline of April 15.

If you're wondering whether your garden is right for the tour, we'd be happy to visit your garden, answer your questions, and help you decide. There's absolutely no obligation. We simply enjoy meeting fellow gardeners and encouraging more people to share the beauty they've created.
