Elizabeth Street Community Garden
The Elizabeth Street Community Garden (ESCG) is managed by the Elizabeth Street Gardens Committee of the Keyport Garden Club.
ESCG is a vibrant, organic garden space dedicated to education, beautification, and community nourishment. Operated by the Elizabeth Street Gardens Committee, the garden brings members together in a spirit of cooperation and fellowship to grow fresh produce and flowers while fostering a strong sense of community.
Our mission is to maintain a safe, welcoming, and attractive environment for individuals who wish to learn about sustainable gardening practices, cultivate edible plants, and contribute to the natural beauty of Keyport. In addition to supporting its members, the garden plays an important role in building community connections and providing hands-on educational opportunities for gardeners of all experience levels.
We proudly recognize the vision and dedication of our founding members—Jim Bacci, Dennis McNamara, Clare Skeen, Bill and Andrea Shadel, Lynne Kosobucki, Diane Calabrese, and Marianne Schell—whose efforts helped bring the Elizabeth Street Community Garden to life in Keyport, New Jersey.
